Technical Translations German - English: FAQ

-
How do I send you my text to be translated?

For the reason of simplicity and promptness, it is best to send the document in an editable format (.doc, .txt etc.) as an email attachment. Through prior agreement, it is also possible to send the text by post. This, however, is the more time-consuming way in every respect!

-
Do you also translate legal documents such as diplomas, birth certificates etc.?

Yes, since 2004, I have been working as publicly appointed and sworn for the English language as well. You will receive the translated and certified document in paper form either per post or personal handover. It is best to show me the original of the text to be translated. In case you submit a copy, this will be mentioned in the certification. For the certification of documents, I charge an extra fee of 5,- to 10,- Euro.

Is it more expensive to have translated urgent projects?

Usually, translations are carried out as quickly as possible. However, I reserve the right to charge a somewhat higher price e.g. for very urgent orders over the weekend. This will of course occur according to prior agreement!

How are invoices to be paid?

In most cases, payments are carried out by bank transfer to the account mentioned in the invoice I send you. Particularly in the personal handover of certified translations, cash payment has proven itself as well.
